Biography of Frank Edoho

Frank Edoho, the host of popular Nigerian TV show, Who wants to be a Millionaire (WWBM) is a TV host, Filmmaker, cinematographer, photographer and media consultant. He was born on 8th July, 1972 in Kano State, Nigeria. He grew up in Lagos state but originally hails from Eket in Akwa Ibom State. He had his tertiary education at the University of Calabar where he studied animal science. While in school, he was a rap artiste with the stage name Mc Frank. After graduation, he started his broadcasting career as a presenter at the Cross River State Broadcasting Corporation and also anchored a breakfast television show for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Channel 9, Calabar. Frank moved to Metro FM 97.6 in 1999 where he anchored radio shows for the radio station. He was however brought into limelight by the popular show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Aside from being a TV host, he is also a voice over artist, photographer, producer and a filmmaker. After he rejected a new deal to continue as host of Who wants to be a Millionaire, he was unveiled alongside Emmanuel Essien, popularly known as Mannie, as the host of an international TV show, The Price Is Right.

Frank Edoho is respected for his eloquent voice and has performed a variety of voice overs for radio advertising and radio jungles for Vogue Fruit Juice, First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Unilever Nigeria Plc, International Bank Plc and Elizade Toyota. However, his outstanding record on the Who wants to be a millionaire show made Frank appear as who wants to be a millionaire host in Tenis Billionaire song video. After 13 years as the show's host starting in 2004, Frank Edoho retired on September 2, 2017. After failing to reach an agreement with Ultima Studios, he made his resignation known via his official Twitter page. Edoho insisted that he "declined the offer" that was made to him by the show's producers in order to avoid being "dropped" by them.

He returned to the show in February 2022. Frank's first marriage to Katherine Obiang, which produced three children before their separation in 2011, was not a happy one. On April 2, 2014, he wed Sandra Onyenuchenuya, his second wife, and they had their first child together the following year. 2018 saw the birth of their son, their second child, in America.

Full Biography of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN)

Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN was born on 21st of July 1956 in Owo to Reverend J. Ola Akeredolu of the Akeredolu family and Lady Evangelist Grace B. Akeredolu of the Aderoyiju family of Igbotu, Ese Odo, in Ondo State.

Akeredolu started his primary education at Government School, Owo. He proceeded to Aquinas College, Akure, Loyola College, Ibadan and Comprehensive High School, Ayetoro, for his secondary school education and Higher School Certificate, respectively. He attended the Loyola College in Ibadan before he proceeded to the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) to study Law, graduating in 1977.

In the University of Ile-Ife, his outstanding leadership capabilities soon came into fore spurring him to engage in the politics and governace of the student union at that time. He was elected as the vice-president of the student union, University of Ile-Ife in the 1975/1976 academic session.

Upon graduation, he was called to the Nigerian Bar 1978 where he meritoriously served the Nigerian Bar Association in various capacities at both the state and national levels. The record of his immense service spans almost three decades. Aketi was the secretary general of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ibadan branch from 1985 to 1986. He has been a member of the National Executive Council of the NBA from 1985 till date.

He served as the publicity secretary during the regime of late Alao-Aka Bashorun. A period considered as the golden era of the bar (1988 till 1989). He was also a member of the legal aid council from 1989 till 1991. He became the vice-chairman of the Ibadan branch in 1991 and subsequently, the chairman between 1992 and 1994. He first became a member of the body of benchers at the same time (1997 till 1999) and was subsequently re-appointed in 2006. He remains a member till date.

Aketi, as he is fondly called, was appointed Attorney General of Ondo State from 1997–1999. In 1998, he became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He embarked on far-reaching reforms as the state's Attorney General. Some of his achievements are still visible in the state judiciary till date.
He was Chairman of the Legal Aid Council (2005–2006).
Aketi was conferred the prestigious title of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria in the year 1998.
Perhaps, what stands out as the highest point of achievement at the bar was his election, unopposed as the president of the Nigerian Bar Association.

Aketi forced himself to the consciousness of the entire country and beyond through what has become his trademark; unyielding opposition to bad governance. He was a member of the governing council, Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies between 2008 and 2010, a member of council of legal education, a member of council, International Bar Association and Pan African Lawyers Union during the same period.

He currently serves as NBA representative in the National Judicial council. A devout christian, he is the chancellor of the Anglican church, Owo diocese.

Aketi is a recipient of myriads of awards including the Obafemi Awolowo University Alumni Association Merit Award, 1995; The NBA award of recognition on the conferment of the SAN title in 1998; Loyola College Old Boys Association Merit Award, 1995; Sportwriters' association Merit Award as a legal adviser, 1995; the Sportwriters' association Merit Award as a patron, 1998 and the Qatari bar assocation award among other numerous awards.

In a lecture in December 2009, Akeredolu said no amount of electoral reform or judicial system could give Nigeria free and fair elections, if Nigerians themselves refused to take practical steps to ensure that their votes count.
In 2012, the Nigerian Bar Association named its new secretariat in Abuja after him with its president citing the reason being the need for "generational identification and recognition of those who had contributed immensely to the development of the association.

In an undying quest to serve his fatherland, he initially entered into the governorship race in Ondo state under the flagbearership of the then Action congress of Nigeria now nomenclatized as the All Progressive Congress in the year 2013.
Due to his tenaciuos and selfless nature, he again entered into the gubernatorial race for the second time in the year 2016 under the flagbearership of the All Progressive Congress and on Sunday 27 November 2016 he was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission as the winner of the Ondo State governorship race. He was sworn in as the governor of Ondo State on 24 February 2017 in Akure, the Ondo State Capital.

He married Betty Chioma Anyanwu Akeredolu of Emeabiam Owerri west local government. The marriage blessed is with four successful kids all making their marks in different facets of life.

Ibukunoluwa Abiodun Awosika is a businesswoman, author, and motivational speaker from Nigeria. Her parents were Mr. Abdulmashood Adekola and Mrs. Hannah Aduke Adekola, and she was born on December 24, 1962. She is the third child of seven and hails from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Ibukun attended Methodist Girls' High School in Yaba Lagos for her secondary education after completing her elementary education at St. Paul's African Church Primary School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) before moving on. She ultimately chose to take elective courses in accounting despite initially wanting to study architecture.

She has completed a number of business programs at the Lagos Business School and IESE Business School University of Navarra, earning postgraduate and MBA certifications. Ibukun Awosika completed her required one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) service in Kano State while working as an audit trainee at Akintola Williams & Co. In 1989, she founded Quebees Limited, a furniture manufacturing company, which later changed its name to The Chair Centre Limited and then SOKOA Chair Centre Limited after merging with SOKOA S.A. and Guaranty Trust Bank. Her quest for independence allowed her to do this. In 2018, Ibukun Awosika was among five Nigerian entrepreneurs who appeared in the first African version of the Dragon's Den. She also hosts a T.V programme called Business His Way. She received the prestigious International Women's Entrepreneurial Challenge Award (IWEC) that year as the first Nigerian recipient as well as a US Department of State recipient and multiple award-winning businesswoman. She helped co-found the Afterschool Graduate Development Centre in 2011, a career center created to combat the high unemployment rate that existed in Nigeria at the time. After Prince Ajibola Afonja's resignation on September 7, 2015, Ibukun was named First Bank of Nigeria's first female chairman.

In 2018, I auditioned for KWARA IDOL Season 1, and I emerged 4th. I wasn’t satisfied. So I went back into the competition in 2019. From the first day, I knew I was going to win, which I did. My journey went on a great trajectory when I decided It’s time for music professionally. So I started making deliberate moves and conscious efforts towards getting better. I was doing covers online, and I also worked at a lounge with a live band for a year in Ilorin despite being very young. I am very hungry for success. It’s an attitude that keeps me going to date.

If I am to describe myself, and my music, I will say, Lade, is not just the average artiste. I am the vibe, the mood muse, and the merchant of melodies. My personality says a lot about my music. I am a happy person, and I am quite emotional too. I love to have fun. So my genre of music is not stereotyped. I do a fusion of Afro-pop, highlife, RnB, and I can do other genres as well. It just all depends on my vibe. I am working on a whole lot of materials. I am taking the time to record some fantastic projects that would be coming out soon. He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate and West African School Certificate in Ibadan, Oyo State. Then, he proceeded to the prestigious University of Ibadan to study Fisheries and Wild Life Management. But he didnt complete his studies there because he decided to pursue a professional acting career. While at U.I, he gained admission to study Tourism and Hospitality Management at Sheffield University in the United Kingdom subsequently, he left Nigeria to the United Kingdom.

Kunle was a youth drama leader in his Ibadan church and it was his exposure in acting that influenced his decision to become an actor. He was also involved in acting while in the University. In 2009, he had taken part in several soap operas and television shows across the country. He studied acting at the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles, and graduated in 2014. This was followed by a stint learning film making and direction from the same academy,and graduating in 2015. Remi is a Christian. He came into the limelight of acting professionally 2011 after winning the 7th edition of Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010. His first major role was in Heavy Beauty, produced by Grace Edwin Okon and directed by Stanlee Ohikhuare. Theresa Edem-Isemin is an actress, voice-over artist, writer, model and filmmaker. Born in Akwa Ibom State in the Niger-Delta region of Nigeria, Theresa started harbouring a passion for the performing arts from a very young age. This passion found expression in school dance troupes, drama clubs and in the church drama department. In 2012, Theresa decided to follow her passion and pursue acting professionally. This decision led to her quitting her office job to attend the Royal Arts Academy, where she studied acting, graduating top of her class.

Since starting to act professionally, Theresa’s career has developed in leaps and bounds. She played her first major role in the Royal Arts Academy production, After The Proposal. Following that, she featured in several stage plays, TV films and radio dramas, including, MTV’s Shuga Radio. Her big break came in 2014, when she was asked to play ‘Angela Dede’ on M-Net Tinsel.

In addition to that, she has starred in several Africa Magic Original Films (AMOFs) such as While We Worked Things Out and Bakers Daughter. She currently plays Enitan on Africa Magic’s prime time telenovela, Forbidden.

When Theresa is not working in front of the camera, she is honing her skills behind it. She has written several short stories and screenplays, some of which she has developed into short films. Her first short film, Grey Area was released in 2014. She has since produced another film, ENO and is working on a number of feature films to be released in the near future.

Theresa has also modelled for big brands. She starred in one of Jumia’s first TV adverts and was brand ambassador for Miss Fashion Week Africa. As brand ambassador for Miss Fashion Week Africa, she is able to pursue her passion for fashion, amongst other things, and help develop aspiring models in Africa.

Biography of Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD)

Richard Eyimofe Evans Damijo, popularly known as RMD, is a Nigerian actor, writer, producer, lawyer and former journalist. He was born on 6th July, 1961 in Aladja community of Udu Kingdom, Delta state. He attended Midwest college, Warri, and Anglican Grammar school and was a member of the Drama club, where he ignited his passion for acting. He further moved to the University of Benin, where he studied Theatre Arts and graduated in 1983. Later on, he attended the University of Lagos where he studied Law, graduated in 2004, and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2005.

After graduating from the University, RMD took part in the soap opera Ripples, but gained more popularity when he took the role of villain Segun Kadiri in the soap opera Checkmate. He also had a short spell before then, with Concord Newspapers, Metro Magazine and Quality, as a writer. In his 30s, he published and sold Nigeria’s first all-gloss magazine for men, titled Mister. He also wrote and produced his first film, Out of Bounds which made him receive a writer/producer credit.

Richard Mofe Damijo also had a stint in politics when he got appointed as the Special Adviser of Culture and Tourism to the former Governor of Delta State (2007-2015), in 2008. He later became the commissioner for Culture and Tourism of Delta State in 2009. His tenure officially ended in 2015.

Eyimofe Damijo was married to journalist/publisher and talk show host, May Ellen ‘MEE’ Ezekiel before her death in 1996. He later remarried TV Personality, Jumobi Adegbesan, who later left TV presenting for the corporate world. RMD has five children; two with his current wife and three from his previous marriage.

RMD is a recipient of various awards and some of them are: Best Actor in a Leading Role, Africa Movie Academy Awards, 2005; Special Recognition Award, Best of Nollywood Awards (BON), 2012; Lifetime Achievement Award, Africa Movie Academy Awards, 2016; Overall Best Actor in a Leading role (Cross Road), Africa Movie Academy Awards, 2018. He was also recently nominated for the Most Popular Actor at the Net Honours, 2021.

The multi-talented actor is the founder of the RMD production; an umbrella for the RMDtvng and RMDtheactor which produces creative content, broadcasting, television and radio productions, etc. It is the producer of the popular sitcom – Mr. X family.

He also founded White Water Limited and RMD Foundation, with the former being a Nigerian PR outfit that deals with public relations consultancy and the latter being a platform for mentoring people identified for greatness. This stemmed out of his love for charity.

Biography of Michael Sanni Amanesi (MCLively)

Michael Sanni Amanesi, better known by his stage name Mc Lively, was born in Ondo State on August 14, 1992, into a family of seven that included his parents and five siblings. Mc Lively was born in Agenebode, Edo State, and raised in Ile-Ife, Osun State. After finishing his elementary schooling at Ideal Nursery and Primary School, he went on to Moremi High School to complete his secondary education. He continued on to Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun state, where he studied law and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2016, earning his Bachelor of Science degree there as well. In 2013, he became the Master of Ceremony (Mc), and by 2015, he had developed into a comic. In his humor, he also goes by the name Barrister Mike.

One of Nigeria's most popular and skilled comics, the Nigerian comedian is making waves in the business. With his comedic sketches, he has been able to establish a niche for himself in the entertainment business. He earned a degree in law from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2015, spent a year in law school, and was admitted to the bar in 2016. With the help of comedians like Gbenga Adeyinka, Ali Baba, Basketmouth, Tee A, Omo Baba, Okey Bakasi, Klint da Drunk, AY, Julius Agwu, Bovi, and others, Mc Lively has thus far been able to pursue his love.

Mc Lively's background as a lawyer helped him become a dynamic comedian. As a child, he liked to watch Night of a Thousand Laughs albums. He is well-known. He is renowned for using humour to discuss the problems in Nigeria. He gained notoriety as a result of the Agidi film, which highlighted the nation's fuel shortage. When his reverend father delivered a sermon at church, he had the inspiration. Along with his brother, he recorded the script and carried out the shooting. His obstinacy gave rise to the name Agidi. When he first began his career in humor as a stand-up comedian, Mc Lively experienced his fair share of disappointment. His endeavor to become a stand-up comic was a complete disaster. The failure was so severe that he even told a joke in front of the crowd, and not even his girlfriend laughed. Mc Lively said he was unable to sleep that night, but in reality, this occurred four times in the higher institution.

This setback helped him realize his talent for comic acting. Prior to getting into comedy in 2015, he began as an MC in 2013. His buddies are not shocked that he become a comic because he demonstrated his comedic tendencies while he was in the higher institution. Mc Lively is a budding Instagram star already. He has received numerous honors for his comedic video in the entertainment sector. At the City People music awards, he was named the Comedy Act of the Year.
