Mike Adenuga is a Nigerian businessman and philanthropist who is the founder and chairman of Globacom Limited, a telecommunications company. He was born on April 29, 1953, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Early life and Education
Adenuga attended the Ibadan Grammar School for his secondary education after which he proceeded to the Comprehensive High School, Aiyetoro, for his A-levels. He later attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and Pace University, where he studied Business Administration.
Adenuga started his career as a clerk at the Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) before venturing into entrepreneurship. He founded his first company, a trading firm called Consolidated Oil Limited (Conoil), in 1990. Conoil has since grown to become one of Nigeria's largest indigenous oil exploration and production companies.
In 2003, Adenuga founded Globacom Limited, which has since become one of the leading telecommunications companies in Nigeria and other African countries. Globacom has also expanded to provide other services such as mobile banking, international calling, and internet services.

Adenuga's family includes his wife, Titi Joyce Adenuga, and their children.
