A building has collapsed on Sonuga Street, Palm Avenue, in the Mushin area of Lagos State on Friday.

Due to the collapse, many peoples have been strapped in new collapsed buildings.
The permanent secretary of the Lagos state emergency management agency (LASEMA), Olufemi Oke-Osanyinyola, has confirmed the incident.
He said, “A building has collapsed in Mushin few minutes ago. The rescue operation is ongoing"
This is not the first time a building will be collapsing in Lagos, with several ones collapsing this year, killing scores. An issue that has raised many questions as regard the low construction standard of some of these buildings in Lagos.
