Biography of Adebowale David Ibrahim Adedayo (Mr Macaroni)

 

Adebowale David Ibrahim Adedayo, popularly known by his stage name Mr Macaroni, is a Nigerian Comic skit maker,an actor and a strong willed Political Activist. He is mostly known for his online skit where he mostly satirizes rich and wealthy men who have no control over themselves and ends up in a sad experience with the use of his constant phases like 'ooin' and 'you are doing well' . He was born on May 3rd, 1993 to an upper middle class Educationist mother and Journalist Father.

He attended Tendercare primary school,formerly at Ojota,now at Magodo Isheri. He then proceeded to Babcock University High school for his secondary education and graduated in 2009. In 2019, Debo gained admission to Lead University, Ibadan where he studied Law but was forced to leave by his second year due to the university accreditation issue. By 2011,he became a law student at the Houdegbe North American University,Cotonou, Republic of Benin but due to his vocal nature and always standing for people's rights that have been trampled, he was forced to leave before he could bag his degree.

After he left Cotonou, Mr Macaroni decided against continuing his education and decided to take his acting career serious. He was able to feature in few roles in movies and sitcoms but was urged by his parents to complete his education. This time,he decided to go for his passion, Theater Arts and got admission to study at the Redeemer's University, Osun State, Nigeria, where he finally bagged his dream course, Theater Arts and film studies in 2018 not after several issues with the above named university at the court.  

Mr Macaroni started his career as an actor in Nollywood before creating comedy videos. In an interview conducted with him, he made it known that he had been an actor for a long time by doing movies and soap operas. He made mention that roles were no longer coming at some point and it took a while before he decided to start online comedy. He has featured in various movies like Ponzi, Ayinla, Kings of Theives (Ageshinkole),a popular Tv series, Ile Alayo, Jenifa's diary, Mistresses and many others. He wrote and directed a Yoruba based movie 'Oba Ara'. He got the Mr Macaroni name after he left Houdegbe North American University. He acted in a sitcom titled "Face 2 Face" where he was taken up as an extra role and the director needed a name for his character, that was how Mr Macaroni name was coined. 

The Comic Actor has acted alongside the Big names in the Nigeria comedy industry such as basket mouth and Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggy. His brown Agbada has become a signatory costume as it is a symbol of a wealthy man in Nigeria. Mr Macaroni also runs a digital firm, Mr Macaroni Entertainment Ltd which is focused on creating viewable promotional contents for brands. 

His spirit of activism was displayed during the End SARS protest 2020 based on his effort which took place at the Lekki Toll gate and since then has been seen fighting more for people's rights. He was once battered by the Nigerian Police and fortunately got the wave of the internet. He has since then, been seen a Nigeria Hero.
