In a bid to provide adequate information for youths to develop their skills, knowledge and attitude to take on leadership roles, organisers of the Catalyst Conference in a press release on Sunday, announced the second edition of the conference.
The Catalyst Conference is an annual conference which serves as a means to constructively transform the lives of Nigerian youths and empower their minds towards social, professional and personal success.
The Conference aims to facilitate a forum for exchange of ideas, concepts, projects and reflections that address local needs and global issues. It also creates a platform for youths to discover their voices and realize their abilities to make positive contributions to the society.
According to the release, the conference seeks to promote better understanding of youths leadership, service learning and greater awareness of global issues among youths between age 16-40.
This year's edition is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 28th November 2020 via Zoom and Facebook Live Streaming with seasoned speaker and panelists.
Prof. Pat Utomi, CEO, Center for Values in Leadership and Nigeria Presidential Aspirant (2007 & 2011) will open the session with a keynote speech. Other expected panelists and speakers include Otunba Ayodeji Akinboyowa (BOT Chairman, Youth Advancement Initiative), Adeniyi Johnson (Actor and Motivational Speaker), Ayodeji Bello (SRH Advocate), Essang Rawlings (Entrepreneur) and the Convener, Olalekan Olatunbosun (The Catalyst)
