Ogele Timothy, Nelson Vincent, Others Emerge Winners in NAOSS Elections

 

On Sunday, 2nd March, 2017, the National Association of Ondo State Students, (NAOSS) Obafemi Awolowo University chapter led in a new administration. This was after a series of campaigns and the electoral process led by Mr Ehinmosan Olukolade, the Chairman of the NAOSS Electoral Commission 2017.

After flying campaigns, a total of 236 voters came to exercise franchise. In a release signed by the electoral commission, the results were announced as follows:

Having fulfilled the constitutional provision. The above mentioned commission is pleased to announce the election results held on Sunday, March 2, 2017 to the members of the aforementioned association.

• BALLOT PAPERS = 250
• TOTAL VOTE CAST = 236
• UNUSED BALLOT PAPERS = 14 

The specifics of the votes cast per candidate is recorded as follows:

1. Office of the President

Contested by two candidates

• Ogele Timothy = 140 Votes (Winner)
• Babatee = 91 Votes
• Void = 5 Votes

2. Vice President

Contested by sole candidate

• Opebetty = 211 Votes (winner)
• Void = 25 

General Secretary
Olucrown = 180 *winner*
Ballam's Voice = 44
Void = 12

Public Relations Officer (PRO)

• Nelson Vincent Ayomitunde = 125 (Winner) 
• Sharon Ogedengbe = 106 Votes
• Void = 5 

Financial Secretary
Big G = 195 *winner*
Void = 42

Social Director
Sammy = 125 *winner*
Jega = 95
Void = 16
