New Man, Nedellum Partners, Announce Strategic Partnership, Launch Church Legal Hub

The New Man Movement, a gospel media ministry has in partnership with Nedellum Partners, launched The Church Legal Hub in a strategic move to strengthen legal protection for churches and ministries in Nigeria.

New Man Movement is a faith based organization that focuses on sharing the gospel via the media, as well as leadership development and organizational strengthening for faith-based and nonprofit institutions in Nigeria, helping leaders build healthy, sustainable organizations. On the other hand, Nedellum Partners is a Nigerian law firm specializing in corporate, commercial, and nonprofit law, with a track record of advising startups, NGOs, and religious organizations on compliance and governance.

Announcing the strategic partnership, Nelson Ayomitunde Vincent, Founder of The New Man and Legal Counsel at Nedellum Partners explained that The Church Legal Hub aims at providing accessible legal and governance support to churches, ministries, and faith-based NGOs across Nigeria.

The collaboration combines New Man’s work in faith media, leadership and organizational development, as well as Nedellum Partners’ legal expertise in corporate and nonprofit law, for the effective operation of the Church Legal Hub. With a specialized focus on ministry compliance and governance, the partnership is set to deliver structured legal reviews, constitution drafting, CAC registration support, and ongoing compliance advisory tailored to the unique needs of faith-based organizations.

Speaking further on the partnership, Nelson mentioned that many ministries operate with constitutions copied from templates or default CAC forms, leaving them exposed to governance disputes, leadership conflicts, and regulatory issues. This partnership addresses that gap by helping leaders build legal structures that match their vision, protect founders, and ensure long-term stability.

Under the partnership, churches and ministries will gain access to:
1. Constitution Review and Drafting with Custom governance documents that define roles, limits, accountability, and succession.
2. CAC Registration and Compliance Support – End-to-end assistance with incorporation and post-registration compliance.
3. Legal Advisory for Ministry Operations with comprehensive Guidance on employment, property, contracts, and dispute prevention.
4. Training for Pastors and Administrative Teams – Practical sessions on governance, risk, and legal hygiene for ministry leaders.

He concluded by stating that most ministries don’t fail because of vision but because the structure can’t carry the vision. “The law is not the enemy of ministry. It’s the framework that protects it, and this
partnership is about giving ministry leaders the legal foundation to build for the long term.”, Nelson said.

The partnership is effective immediately. Services will be available to churches, ministries, and faith-based NGOs nationwide through both virtual and in-person consultations. The Church Legal Hub is a community and advisory platform providing legal support to pastors, ministry founders, and their legal teams to build ministries that are spiritually sound, legally protected, and structurally built to last.

It affirms our belief that free, quality education is achievable when a community rallies together. We are excited to learn from, and contribute to a global community committed to transforming education for the most vulnerable children.”

Over the past year, Tsion Academy has expanded its frontiers with the launch of its second free schooling facility in Ile-Ife, which commenced academic activities on April 28, 2025. Under Della’s leadership, the Academy has distinguished itself as a centre for academic brilliance and holistic development, nurturing children intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. The school’s model also includes a Big Sister/Brother Initiative, as well as an Education Fund Bank designed to sponsor out-of-school children in low-income communities.

“We remain committed to serving with excellence and integrity,” Della added. “And this partnership with GSF will help us scale innovation, access global best practices, and amplify our impact as we work hand-in-hand with parents, guardians, and the wider community to shape future leaders.”

By becoming a member of GSF, Tsion Academy gains access to a supportive network that creates learning and networking opportunities, scales innovation through funding and coaching, and generates evidence of what works in education. The move aligns with GSF’s vision that all children can realise their potential through safe access to quality education.

Tsion Academy is a Nigerian non-state education provider offering free, quality schooling to children in underserved communities. Founded on the principle that “it takes a village to raise a child,” the Academy focuses on academic excellence, character development, and holistic growth. Its second facility in Ile-Ife continues its mission to make quality education accessible to more families.

President Tinubu Tasks Traditional Rulers on Security, Unity, Commends Falae

President Tinubu Tasks Traditional Rulers on Security, Unity, Commends Falae - NELOC Media News

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigeria's traditional rulers to step up their involvement in addressing the country's security challenges and promoting unity across diverse communities.

He emphasised that beyond their ceremonial roles, royal fathers must serve as stabilising forces within their domains, leveraging their influence to encourage peaceful coexistence and strengthen social cohesion.

The President stated this on Thursday in Lagos at the launch of the autobiography of His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr) Samuel Oluyemisi Olu Falae.

Speaking through his Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, the President said the country's royal fathers must rise to the demands of the moment by serving as frontline agents of peacebuilding and grassroots stability.

According to Yomi Odunuga, Akume's spokesman, the President said:
"Peace and security are not solely the responsibility of government; they are collective duties," the president said, calling on monarchs to promote dialogue, discourage violence, and strengthen cohesion within their domains.

The event, which drew political leaders, traditional rulers, and members of the diplomatic community, was framed by Tinubu as more than a ceremonial book launch, but a reflection on leadership, service, and national values embodied by Oba Falae.

Describing the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation as "a bridge between tradition and modern governance," the President praised his legacy in public service, economic management, and cultural leadership.

He noted that Falae's career, from his stewardship as finance minister to his current role as the Olu-Abo of Ilu-Abo in Ondo State, represented a rare blend of technocratic discipline and traditional authority.

Tinubu highlighted Falae's tenure in government as one marked by fiscal prudence and policy clarity, adding that his contributions helped shape Nigeria's economic framework during critical periods, even as he acknowledged his leadership role within Afenifere, where he has served as chairman of the National Executive Committee since 2025.

The President stressed that traditional institutions remain indispensable to governance, particularly at a time of heightened security challenges and social fragmentation.

"Our royal fathers are the closest link between government and the grassroots," Tinubu said. "Your palaces must remain centres of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and moral guidance."

He assured that his administration would continue to strengthen collaboration with traditional institutions, pledging more engagement in efforts to enhance security, social harmony, and grassroots development.

Tinubu also underscored the symbolic weight of Falae's autobiography, describing it as both a personal chronicle and a mirror of Nigeria's journey through trials and resilience. He said the book offers valuable lessons for younger generations on perseverance, patriotism, and integrity.

The President congratulated the monarch on the publication, expressing hope that his legacy would continue to inspire future leaders.
