Kerux Academic Initiative (KAI) Educational Projects 20

BUILDING A MORE PEACEFUL WORLD THROUGH QUALITY EDUCATION FOR GENERATIONS TO COME

Kerux Academic Initiative (KAI) is a nonprofit organization committed to mentoring young adults academically and professionally on leadership, business, education and digital skills.

On 22nd February, 2024, KAI Mentees were exposed to basic concepts in computer. Every 21st century business owner or employer requires prospective applicants to possess good knowledge of computer and basic computer skills. Mentoring these teenagers on leadership, business and digital skills will definitely increase their chances of gainful employment and also equip them with the needed knowledge, skills and expertise to run their personal businesses and nonprofits in the future.

This, remains a strategic step to eradicating poverty, hunger, youth restiveness and the prevalence of cyber crime.

KAI is committed to achieving SDG 4 and mentoring the next Generation of African and Global Leaders.

KAI Founder and Executive Director, Mr Godspower Oyubu Published Two Textbooks

As a strategy to curb the challenges of unavailability of simplified study materials confronting students preparing for the Nigerian Examination known as JAMB  for students seeking admissions into Universities and other Higher Institutions, KAI has published two textbooks titled:
The Simplified Chemistry and
The Simplified Biology (2nd Edition)

These were written and specifically designed for students preparing for SSCE, JAMB Examinations as well as for First Year Students in Higher Institutions.

KAI is not only preaching quality education for all (SDG 4), we are taking strategic steps to help students access it!

Kerux Academic Initiative (KAI) Operation Get Back To School: Project Two (Completely Free)

As a strategy to curb the challenges of youth restiveness and students dropping out of schools in Mosogar Community, Mr Godspower Oyubu, the Founder and Executive Director at Kerux Academic Initiative (KAI) collaborated with KAI partners within and outside Nigeria to provide free Jamb enrollment for up to 70 teenagers within Mosogar, Jesse and Oghara with the goal of helping the best 10 students from the UTME source for funds for their tuition fees when admitted into Universities. KAI understands the first step to success is always the hardest step, hence, we are helping these young adults take the first step.

Currently, KAI also provides access to digital training for students preparing for the 2024 UTME. The free Jamb Registration and Digital Skills Training were the Part One of the KAI Operation Get Back To School Project!

The Part Two of the Operation Get Back To School Project is targeted at children in JSS3 preparing for the Junior WAEC Examination. This project is designed to equip children with basic computer skills and also learn in a simplistic way core subjects such as Mathematics, English Basic Science and other subjects offered in the Junior WAEC Examination. (Completely Free)

I strongly believe Education remains the most strategic and powerful weapon we can use to change the World.

KAI is opened to partnership and collaboration! We are committed to mentoring the next Generation of African and Global Leaders.

Our priority at KAI is to build a more peaceful, inclusive and equitable world for generations to come!
