TLA Africa International Conference is an initiative of The Learnaholics Academy, Africa; a personal and professional development institute established in Nigeria with over 4,000 students/beneficiaries, with her activities spread to over 25 African countries with correspondence chapters in Kenya, Ghana, Burundi, Rwanda and Zambia.
TLA Africa International Conference is a platform to amplify voices of change and impact for a better Africa. Since the mid-20th century, the Cold War and increased corruption and despotism have marred strategic development in Africa coupled with political instability, terrorism, border closure, etc. Hence, this conference is posed to address critical issues affecting the continent and proffering solutions to it.
This year edition is themed, 'Envision 2030: Africa and the SDGs'. This theme is targeted towards evaluating the implementation of SDGs in Africa and the way forward. It will accommodate speakers and panelists from different walks of life.
This year edition will also be used for unveiling of 'TLA-SDGs 30 Under 30', an award ceremony to celebrate 510 young Africans below the age of 30 who are consistently promoting SDGs in their locality for each goal. Winners of these awards will be specially recognized and initiated into the community for training and networking.
