[POEM] IWE OGBA(BOOKWORM)

You see him dragging his feet
Being sandwiched between back-packs.
Bags full of numerous lexicons and endless notes.
Another giant book I see dangling somewhere
Like the albatross on the mariners neck
What I saw was true passion
Only to discover that the sight shouldn’t be trusted
In case you find this guy
Just call him ‘Iwe Ogba’

The same him you found in H.O.L
Seated and surrounded by books
Which now served as pillows
Though I spent just six little hours
I didn’t see the beginning and end of the sleep
Too long to call a nap or a siester
Why leave the coziness of your bed
Only to sleep on wood
Or didn’t you pass the night
isn’t eight hours enough to call ‘passing the night’
In case you come across him
Just whisper ‘Iwe Ogba’

Feel free reading on all tables
But a particular one you dare not
Already occupied with pyramid of books
Just like a pile of neglected refuse
You rarely see them reading through
All they get from having the tables to themselves
Hey! ‘These guys can jack fire oh’
In case you finally see them
Just clap them saying ‘Iwe Ogba’

Do well by perfectly fooling us
But you do yourself great harm

When you disarm yourself
Feeling defenseless against your own lies
You go by different nomenclature
Ranging from adobe reader to Jack Bauer
From Jacker to Jackometer to Jackoscope
But you still weep when you check the portal
All your name to me does not matter
Because I will forever call you ‘Iwe Ogba’
