Drake Ties Michael Jackson’s Record With ‘Views’ & ‘One Dance’

Dr aire ke’s Wizkid and Kyla-assisted hit “One Dance” remains No. 1 on the Billboard Hot
100 for an eighth non-consecutive week. As reported yesterday, Views also sits atop the Billboard 200, marking its ninth consecutive week in that spot.

This puts the 6 God up there with Michael Jackson. Thanks to those distinctions, he ties MJ for “the longest-ever simultaneous domination” of both charts by a male artist, as per Billboard.

The records continue to pile up for Drake. With seven consecutive weeks atop the Hot 100, Drake also ties for “the longest consecutive control of the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously among males.” This places him alongside the King of Pop, who did that in 1983 with “Billie Jean” and Thriller.

The last time any artist was able to achieve this feat was 1992-93 when Whitney Houston held 12 straight weeks at the top of the Hot 100 with “I Will Always Love You” and the Billboard 200 with The Bodyguard soundtrack.
Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” remains at No. 2 on the chart, Desiigner nabs the No. 4 slot with “Panda,” and Calvin Harris’ Rihanna-assisted “This Is What You Came For” rounds out the top 5. See the rest of this week’s top 10 below.

Lil Wayne Accused Of Punching Bouncer At BET Awards After-Party

Lil Wayne reportedly got into some trouble after the BET Awards on Sunday (Jun. 26). The
rapper, who was hosting an after-party with 2 Chainz at Hyde nightclub on Sunset Blvd., is being accused of battery.

A bouncer at Hyde filed the battery report, saying that Wayne punched him in the face after members of his entourage were turned away at the door, according to TMZ.

However, Weezy’s camp denies the incident. They claim the bouncer actually worked Wayne’s VIP area the whole night. They acknowledge that there was a brief altercation after the bouncer grabbed Tunechi by the arm. He later apologized.

Although the injuries were deemed minor, Wayne could reportedly be facing a misdemeanor battery charge.

Wayne has had a year of ups and downs. After reigniting his Cash Money feud, he suffered a couple of seizures earlier this month while flying on a plane.

Runtown Joins Label Owners As He Settles Court Case With Former Label

Pop star, Runtown , has finally settled his legal issues with former label, Eric-Manny, in an
out of court fashion.

According to NET, Runtown and his label were able to resolve their issues out of court with the help of the Olaniwun Ajayi law firm. This comes after the court hearing on June 14, 2016 in New York.

‘”Runtown and Dilly agreed to settle out of court and Runtown will remain with the label for one more year but its now more of a partnership deal because it gives Runtown more control,’”a source said.
Another NET source also revealed that Runtown has also decided join the list of record label owners in the country as he is set to float his own label which will be called ‘ Power In The Music ’ (PITM).

Miss Great Britain has be de-crowned Of Title After S*x On Reality Show

Zara Holland has been stripped of her Miss Great Britain title after she had sex on ITV2
reality show, Love Island.

Zara spent the night with Vicky Pattison's ex-boyfriend Alex Bowen after he'd only been in the villa for a day and immediately regretted her.

The official statement read: “Following recent actions within ITV2 show 'Love Island' is with deep regret that we, the Miss Great Britain Organisation, have to announce that Zara Holland has formally been de-crowned as Miss Great Britain."

"As an organisation we have not taken this decision lightly, we are close to all of our winners and wherever possibly stand by them during their rein. That said, we feel we have no choice but to make this decision under the circumstances.

"The feedback we have received from pageant insiders and members of the general public is such that we cannot promote Zara as a positive role model moving forward.

“We wholly understand that everyone makes mistakes, but Zara, as an ambassador for Miss Great Britain, simply did not uphold the responsibility expected of the title.”

The organisation had also stated that the 1st runner up, Deone Robertson, will be Miss GB for the remainder of the year.
