INTERNSHIPS

If you plan to embark on a career in media and journalism related spheres, then an internship with us is ideal for you.

This internship Programme offers you practical work in any of our priority areas. Aside from helping you understand our media/journalism scope, mandate, programmes, and main thrusts, we also enhance your academic knowledge with relevant work duties and assignments that can help you prepare for your future career.

Who can apply?

You can apply for an internship if you are a:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate; or
• Recent graduate with a university degree within the last 12 months.

Requirements

• Age: At least 18 years old to apply.
• Languages: An excellent command, both written and spoken, of English. 
• Computer skills: Knowledge of computer systems and office-related software.
• Team Player: Should be able to work well in a team and adapt to a digital, international working environment.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• ID/Certificate (for recent graduates)
• CV/Resume and a Cover Letter

NOTE

• You can submit only one application.
• The duration of internship ranges between 2 and 12 months.
• We usually do not remunerate interns. There is no specific financial compensation, for internship assignments. However, there are incentives (data costs, transport, lunch and health packages) to ease your work process.
• Eligibility is not a guarantee for placement. We receive more applications from qualified candidates than we can place.
• Applications will be accessed by our  HR personnel and will stay in our database for a six months.
• We do not respond to each and every candidate. If selected, you will be directly contacted by the HR. If you do not receive any update within two weeks, it means that your application has not been successful.
• Potential candidates should be interested in gaining critical experience and knowledge of the media system.
• Interns will learn skills related to social media, content development, sales, marketing and a list of additional hands-on skills, including operating Blogger, WordPress and CoSchedule platforms to create content. 
• DUTIES: ALL Internship Duties Range from Basic and Research Writing, Social Media Development, PR, UI/UX and Graphics Designs, Web Design and Development of Mockup Code Libraries and other duties as represented by intern's indicated field of interest.
• Intern's Knowledge after internship duration would span across these basic duties and other media services at NELOC Media with the sole aim to add total value to interns.
• Interns will receive Dual Certificates upon completion. these certificates would be signed by the NELOC Media Academy and NELOC Media, The Company.
