The second term ambition of Hon. (Dr) Timehin Adelegbe into the House of Representatives, Owo/Ose Federal Constituency got a boost on Monday when major leaders, stakeholders and members of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, endorsed the Deputy Chairman, House committee on Foreign Affairs for second.The group led by Mr. Ayotunde Omotola and Mr. Lasisi Olusamokun hinged their endorsement on Adelegbe's good and robust representation in the last three and a half years as a federal legislator, his huge investment in reviving the infrastructural deficits in Owo/Ose federal constituency, he would do more for the people when he wins the election in 2023.

The group comprising of ward Coordinators, canvassers and huge number of the party faithful and stakeholders from Owo Local Government collapsed their structure and pledged allegiance to the Hon. (Dr) Timehin Adelegbe second term ambition.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Mr. Ayotunde Omotola stated that politics of good representation and selfless service to humanity exemplified by the Okeluse born politician were the reasons for their action. He stressed further that they were working for Mr Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare (OGO), House of Representatives candidate on the platform of SDP before they retraced their steps to support the workaholic servant leader of men who has distinguished himself from political juggernauts that flooded our political terrain in the recent time. He maintained that the All Progressive Congress, APC house of representatives party flag bearer has proven evidence of being a performer, stressing "that is exactly the representative Owo/Ose deserves this time".

Overwhelmed by the show of love and commitment, Hon. Adelegbe expressed his gratitude and promised not to take their massive supports for granted. While assuring the group of effective representation at the National Assembly, he further pledged to attract more basic amenities to the people of the constituency, adding that he was optimistic that the leadership of the group would convince other members not in attendance to support his political dream.

The Chairman of All Progressive Congress in Owo Local Government, Hon. Samuel Balogun in his remarks thanks the group for endorsing a winning candidate and made it clear that Hon. Timehin will not for any reason short-changed the people of the constituency when he wins the contest in 2023.

During the ceremony, the mammoth crowd re-echoed their unflinching support for Dr Timehin and reassured him that they would always be with him wherever he might be.
