Member of the House of Representatives representing Owo/ Ose Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.)Timehin Adelegbe has rolled out 150 sewing machines to fashion designers across the twelve wards of the Ose local government area.
The series 5 edition of the mega empowerment took place today at St. Paul's Anglican Primary School, Ifon.
"This is just the beginning of this empowerment. We have outlined series of this programmes to empower our people for them to self reliant.

Adelegbe urged the beneficiaries to make use of the sewing machines to boost their standard of living and contribute to the national economy.

Appreciating Adelegbe for the empowerment, the Chairman of Fashion Designers Association in Ose LGA., Mr. Ayo Amodu said that this was the first time that the association would be benefiting from any politician.
"I'm very happy today for this empowerment. I'm happy for Adelegbe for fulfilling his promise to us. When he was contesting, he met with the association at the Ifon town Hall and asked for our support. This is the second time he is empowering this association".
"Our belief is that he is just one of these politicians that will not remember his words when asking for votes. Since he has fulfilled his earlier promise to us, we have that strong belief that when he returns to the House, he will do more for us".
