COVID-19: E-registration for Private Candidate begins-WAEC

The West African Examination Council released a statement signed by the head of the National Office Patrick E. Areghan informing the general public and the intending candidates that the second series of the e-registration for private candidates commenced the 10th of June and would be ending July 31st, 2020 which would be done via the website of WAEC after obtaining the registration PIN. The registration fee of N13,950 only and a sum of N500 commission is expected of the candidates to obtain a PIN and information VCD to accredited banks or agents.


From the statement, the examination would be an urban base and would be conducted at a period to be announced in due time. It advises the aspiring candidate to visit the council cooperate website- www.waecnigeria.org to confirm available examination centers/towns and subjects before acquiring the registration PIN.


Candidates with special needs can also register online as they are required to clearly state their impairment.
Candidates must conclude within two weeks their registration of first access to the website, and check properly all information required before submission as the waec fee is not refundable. 


The sum of N30,500 would be paid by candidates who wish to register after the close of entries of the examination may be accommodated as Walk-In-Candidate provided they register not less than twenty-four hours to the scheduled time of the paper they intend to write.
